ReSolve’s mission is to empower researchers and innovators with specialist tools that enable them to speed discovery, streamline innovation, and drive change. Through leveraging our expertise in software development, measurement, robotics, and automation, ReSolve provides full turn-key engineering solutions that help our clients efficiently realise and transform their systems, processes and products.

The team

We have over 15 years’ experience delivering bespoke, innovative technologies for a variety of applications in industry and academia. With a strong focus on research, we apply and develop novel engineering techniques to tackle complex challenges and add value.

Earle Jamieson, MEng PhD

Earle Jamieson

I work to creatively combine novel engineering techniques with robust scientific methodologies to help advance the world through innovation. I completed a Master’s degree (MEng) in mechatronics and robotics, followed by a PhD in medical robotics at The University of Leeds. I have gained over 6 years’ engineering consultancy experience working across various sectors in software development, measurement, robotics, and automation. Certified LabVIEW Architect (CLA).

James Chandler

While studying Automotive Engineering, I had the opportunity to work on a range of research led internship projects. This sparked my interest in research and engineering. I found particular affinity for mechatronic systems and applied this to a medical robotics application during my Master’s degree. I went on to complete my PhD in the development of surgical sensors for key-hole surgery. I have always tried to find ways to do things differently and I have a passion for integrating systems to leverage their full capability in an efficient and user-friendly way.

ReSolve provide ongoing support developing bespoke, automated experimental equipment spanning across our tribology and corrosion research facilities.
